A Vimeo Staff Pick, featuring creature design byJordu Schell and sound design by Brandon Jones, the teaser trailer by the Director of The Last Days on Mars was picked up by 20th Century Fox in 2015, which Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie) is producing alongside Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Fantastic Four, The Martian). Gnomon is honored to welcome Robinson, the award-winning Irish filmmaker, to the stage to reveal the making of his incredible four-minute adventure tease. Ruairi Robinson is an Irish filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He divides his time between commercials and narrative filmmaking, both of which frequently feature animated CG creatures, large and small. Robinson began his film career in post-production and visual effects before moving into directing commercials and films. He has received more than 70 international awards and nominations for his short films and commercials, including the Sharks, Icads, Design Awards, LEAF, British Animation Awards, O2 Digital Awards, The Bessies, Empire State Film Festival, and Dresden Filmfest.
