Higher. Further. Faster, baby. On March 8th, Marvel Studios is bringing Earth’s Mightiest Hero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the highly anticipated Captain Marvel, and to celebrate, we’re bringing the outstanding team behind the movie’s visual development to you.
Gnomon is excited welcome back Marvel Studio’s illustrious Visual Development team to talk all things concept and design for the silver screen take on Captain Marvel and her world. Led by Andy Park, the Director of Visual Development, the team was responsible for designing the characters, props, and the overall visual look of the movie.
Andy will be joined by Anthony Francisco, Jackson Sze, Ian Joyner, and Tully Summers as they explore the concepts, illustrations, and keyframes that helped set the look of the film, as well as reveal how 3D tools were critical in creating characters and assets. Discover the thought processes and considerations that went into designing iconic Marvel figures such as Captain Marvel, the Kree, and the Skrull for the big screen at this Lenovo Stage exclusive event.
This event will not be livestreamed and seating is limited, so be sure to RSVP and arrive in good time to secure a place in line. Attendee check-in will open at approximately 6:30 PM, with doors opening closer to 7:00 PM. A valid Eventbrite RSVP will be required to get an event wristband.
