Lighting & Rendering in Unreal Engine: An Evening with Epic Games

Lighting & Rendering in Unreal Engine: An Evening with Epic Games

Join us on Friday, February 3rd, at 6:00 pm PST, for an evening with Epic Games’ Director of Education and Learning Resources, Luis Cataldi. In the two-hour presentation, Luis will assemble a complete interior scene from scratch while sharing many useful tips and tricks to improve production workflow. Once assembled, the scene will be illuminated, while reviewing many of the key need-to-know features of the Unreal Engine 4 lighting and rendering systems. Additional focus will be given to the Material System, Cine Cameras, Post-Process settings, and performance profiling tools.

Whether you’re a student or professional artist working in games, be sure to RSVP to attend for free at the Gnomon Stage, or follow along on Livestream. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis, so be sure to arrive in good time to secure your place in line. Luis will take questions from both the stage audience and Livestream viewers during the live event (Tweet questions using #gnomon on Twitter).
