Join us Tuesday, January 7th for a special evening with artists Justin Sweet and Vance Kovacs as they discuss their latest project Eclipse: The Well and the Black Sea. Justin and Vance will share some of their most recent character/creature design work, followed up by an extended Q&A session with the audience. Justin Sweet and Vance Kovacs are freelance artists with two decades of experience illustrating for films, games, and publishing. They started their careers in 1994 as concept artists at Interplay Productions where they shared an office for 5 years in the Black Isle Division, drawing, painting and developing ideas for video games. Afterwards they began working as concept artists in the film industry, amassing a variety of credits including The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Snow White & the Huntsman and John Carter. Separately they worked on the titles Thor, Thor 2, Green Lantern, Men in Black 3, Jack the Giant Killer, 47 Ronin, The Avengers, and Riddick. Upcoming titles include 300: Rise of an Empire,Dawn of the Planet of The Apes, Noah, and Batman vs. Superman. Justin and Vance continue to illustrate for the publishing and games industries.  Headspace is a casual community event driven by the goal of bringing together artists in the entertainment industry. If you’re looking for insight, inspiration and guidance, this is the event for you! This event is free and open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-served.
