GPU Rendering: An Introduction to Redshift for Production

GPU Rendering: An Introduction to Redshift for Production

Thursday, November 15th, 2018, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

On Thursday, November 15th, join visual effects industry veteran David Stripinis for an overview of GPU rendering and an introduction to the GPU-accelerated renderer Redshift. In addition to providing a foundational understanding of the software, David will cover how Redshift can be integrated into both personal and professional pipelines across digital content creation applications and will discuss specific techniques and workflows to help increase productivity and creativity. After the presentation, audience members will be invited to participate in a Q&A and will have the chance to ask David about the software, his process, and any other questions they may have.\

Be sure to RSVP to attend for free at the Lenovo Stage at Gnomon, or follow along on our Twitch stream. Attendee check-in will open at 6:30 PM; a valid Eventbrite RSVP will be required to get an event wristband. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis, so be sure to arrive in good time.

Gnomon School of VFX's full-time programs and 10-week individual courses are designed to develop well-rounded artists that are skilled in the diverse disciplines within 3D production. For those outside of the US, virtual classroom-style online courses are also available.
