Join the Director of Chaos Group Labs Christopher Nichols and Deadpool Director Tim Miller at Gnomon on Thursday, December 8th, at 6:00 pm to celebrate the 100th episode of the CG Garage Podcast. The episode will be hosted for an intimate audience in Hollywood and broadcast live on Livestream from 7:00 pm PST. The live audience is encouraged to participate in what promises to be an energetic and thought-provoking discussion with industry experts.

 

Complimentary food and refreshments will be served from 6:00 pm for an hour of industry networking before the 100th episode kicks off with live music at 7:00 pm. Entry is by RSVP only, and seating is first-come-first-served*. The first 100 attendees to check in from 6:00 pm on December 8th will receive a limited edition T-shirt, courtesy of Chaos Group, the makers of V-Ray.

Tim Miller is a Director and Visual Effects Artist. He made his feature film-directing debut with the hugely successful Deadpool (2016). He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film with Gopher Broke (2004), and designed the opening sequences of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Thor: The Dark World. In 1995, he co-founded the award-winning VFX company Blur Studio, a studio with filmography credits including Avatar, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Man of Steel.

Christopher Nichols is the Director of Chaos Group Labs and the host of the CG Garage podcast, which attracts 14,000 weekly listeners and covers wide-ranging topics concerning digital artistry, design, and technology. With a background in both VFX and design, Chris has worked for Gensler, Digital Domain, Imageworks, and Method Studios. His credits include Maleficent, Oblivion and Tron: Legacy. Chaos Group Labs is the research arm of Chaos Group, and is a think tank for artists, developers, academic researchers, and industry leaders.
