An Evening with Luma Pictures: A Recipe for Exceptional VFX

An Evening with Luma Pictures: A Recipe for Exceptional VFX

Join us on Thursday, June 16th, at 7:30 pm for an evening with four top talents from Luma Pictures. The panel of experts from the Santa Monica studio will reveal how to execute great VFX by failing fast (and why that’s okay), finding cheats (because you should), and learning to feed off your colleagues (like zombie pirates). The talk will offer unique industry insights to help you discover what the professionals care about, as well as what they don’t, and will wrap up their top advice in a tasty VFX burrito for you to take away with you. An audience Q&A session with the speakers will conclude the evening, plus there will be opportunities to meet the speakers in person at the end of the presentation.

To hear from the incredible VP/VFX Supervisor Vince Cirelli, CG Supervisor Oded Raz, 2D SupervisorAlexandre Cancado, and Character Supervisor Mathieu Aerni, be sure to visit the Gnomon campus to experience the event live. Entry is by RSVP only, and seating is first-come-first-served. The event will also be available on Livestream for those who can’t attend in person*.

*You do not need to RSVP if you intend to watch the Livestream only.
