Join us on Saturday, July 9th, at 2:00 pm for an afternoon with Art Director and Matte Painter, Nick Hiatt whose recent credits include Star Wars: The Force Awakens and 10 Cloverfield Lane. Nick will take to the Gnomon stage to share a collection of matte paintings created for Episode VII while working as Art Director for Bad Robot Productions/Kelvin Optical. He will discuss his painting process and talk about his experiences working on feature films. Following his opening presentation there will be an in-depth Q&A session, with opportunities for both the live and online audiences to contribute their own questions to the mix*. A meet-and-greet with the artist will conclude the event.

Be sure to visit the Gnomon campus to meet the artist and experience the free event in Hollywood. Entry is by RSVP only, and seating is first-come-first-served. The event will also be available on Livestream for those who can’t attend in person**.
