An Afternoon with Epic Games: Making VR Games & Experiences in Unreal Engine

 

Join us on Wednesday, June 15th, at 4:00 pm for an afternoon with Epic Games. Evangelists Andy Hess and Luis Cataldi will conduct an Introduction to Unreal, a four-hour lecture/workshop which covers the Unreal Engine including UI, terminology, workflows, content management, and learning resources. Additional topics will include an introduction to materials and lighting, Blueprints, VR locomotion and interaction mechanics, and the Unreal Game Framework.

 

To stay in the loop on the latest techniques, be sure to visit the Gnomon campus for this free event. Entry is by RSVP only, and seating is first-come-first-served. A complimentary buffet spread will be available, including meat, salad, fruit, and dessert options.

Luis Cataldi has been working in the CG industry for over 20 years in many roles ranging from character rigger to animator, and environment artist. His work has appeared in TV, music videos, theme park rides, feature animated movies, and AAA games. He joined Epic in 2014 as Education Evangelist and has been working to build an educational community around the unique capabilities of Unreal Engine.
